TeleNovela Channel Launched, Bringing Life’s Drama On Cable 24/7

Filipinos love watching drama series and Latin American TeleNovelas have dominated the waves for the last decades. The recent popularity of drama series from Taiwan, Korea and Japan has pushed back TeleNovelas to mere seasonal shows. Even as the entertainment industry paints a grim image on the future of TeleNovelas in the country, the recently-launched TeleNovela Channel has reconnected once more drama-loving Filipino audience to Tagalog-dubbed Latin American series, and it was a sweet reunion.

On their recent trade launch at Spicy Fingers – Greenbelt 2, TeleNovela Channel treated media agencies to a night of fun and games with prizes like two iPad 3, a 32 inch LCD TV, two Canon Point and Shoot Camera, iPod Touch, two cellphones and gift certificates from various sponsors. All advertising media companies were present and spotted are some media planners as well.




The media planners were shy to join some interesting games prepared by TeleNovela Channel but their workmates rocked the night with sign, dance and drink, but the one that stood out and the idol of the night of PMP for being game is Joshua of TouchDDB.
